As specified in the Electrical Installations Occupational Health and Safety Act an Electrical Compliance Certificate (ECoC) is needed, this ensures that the electrical work on the property complies with the South African National Standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seller of a property needs to supply a valid Electrical Compliance Certificate and an electrical fence certificate of compliance, in cases where there are electric fences, before the property can be transferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
